Series 4301
Model 4301


All doors noted rigid insulated impact traffic doors on the door schedule shall be Series 4300 Model 4301 as manufactured by Super Seal Mfg. Ltd., Woodbridge, Ontario. Door Body shall be 1-3/4" thick overall, double acting, shock absorbing construction. The face panels shall be 1/8" thick (1/4" thick panels available: Please Specify), high impact and abrasion resistant one (1) piece "tufplas" color ________. The face panels shall be bonded to the PVC extrusion framework using an adhesive that will withstand temperatures from 32o to 120o F and will not delaminate under impact and/or stress. There will be no rivets, bolts, or exterior trim. The interior door panels shall consist of internal support beams and urethane foam for strength and insulation. Door panels shall have full perimeter gasketing including top and bottom hinge covers. Gasketing shall be mounted in an extruded PVC track. Each panel shall have a clear safety acrylic 1/8" thick double "thermopane" window. Standard window size for door panel(s) under 30"W is 12"W x 22"H and for door panel(s) 30"W and over 20"W x 22"H. Hinge Hardware shall be jamb mounted, cast steel v-cam gravity type, double acting, swinging in 90o in each direction. V-cam gravity hinge hardware shall be an assembly of a cast aluminum alloy upper door clamp, fitted with a cast aluminum alloy v-cam follower complete with a 1-1/4" diameter aircraft quality needle bearing cam yoke roller. The lower bearing shall consist of cast aluminum alloy door clamp, fitted with a cast aluminum alloy bearing and an adjustable spring compensator. Top v-cam and bottom bearing are fitted with a long lasting nylon bushing for smooth operation. All non aluminum metallic parts are galvanized to resist corrosion.
